I'm trying to get a feel here, I don't think my car is going fast enough, and I'm trying to find the problem.

I am running low 106mphs. ~70F weather, 0 altitude (or close to it).

I have an A4 car with a Yank 3000. Race weight is about 3650. Mods are: FTRA/whisper lid, FLPs (with cats) and cutout before the axle. Some free stuff like TB bypass/egr mod/etc but that's all.

With just the cutout, FTRA, lid (no stall or headers), last year, I was running low 106s (best of 106.67 but on a spinning run) in cold weather. I put down 311rwhp/332rwtq on the dyno with those mods (unlocked) I figured with the headers and stall I would be running at least 108.

So, let me know what you guys are running for trap speeds with similar mods. Thanks a lot.

if im not mistaken the stall loses some top end mph for a harder launch so thats some loss right there. my best mph is in sig in 2200 DA.

That seems pretty close for an A4 in the heat. The best MPH I've turned in mine with LS6 Intake, JBA's (no cats), SY3500, Nittos was 12.41 @ 109.5 weighing about 3790 with me in it. That was on a cool Florida evening in April. Ran again in May with temps and humidity up in the 70's/80's and best mph was around 107.8.

Yup, I agree with the previous posts. I just finished installing my Hooker LTs and ran at Carlsbad last week. Carlsbad is at 600' elevation near the ocean, but the day of my run it was blistering hot, my DA was ~1450. I ran a best ET of 13.154 and a best trap of 106.25 on street tires. JFYI. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> I think in cooler/colder weather this will go up (MPH, or down for the ET). <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

I was running 107 to 108 before the skinnies, with shorties, cats, cutout, Y3200 and a race weight of ~ 3800 ... but then I have and FIPK and not a FTRA <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

With skinnies, FLP LTs, ORP and !Torque Mangement, I'm running 110-111 in 98*

Thanks guys. Think I'm definitely running a bit slow, will have to do some grunt work with AutoTap and see how the timing/O2s are and see if I have any 'problems'. Maybe clean the K&N, the bugs have to be restricting at least 20rwhp <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

with FTRA, skinnies, headers, vig3600 im trapping 113 best and 112's average

with yank2800 and FTRA only i was trapping 106

the bigger the stall you get, generally the more mph you loose.. but those YTP4400'S dont seem to loose any mph though..

MY Formula with the addition of Yank TT-3000, 2.5 str and Nitto drs and FTRA ( NO HEADERS )went from 103 mph too 107.5 mph. Yanks are about 2% more effecient than stock.Race weight 3575 DA was 1000 ft on both times.2 mph from the converter, 2 mph from the FTRA. hope this helps out.

Don't have headers or an LS6 instake and was running 110-111's and 112MPH on real good weather days. Since the car accident I've been able to squeek out some 110's, but now running mostly 109's.

My wife's car in the mid-summer heat will run about 108-109. In cool to cold air she runs 110-112. Mods below....
