Hola guys,

Man after a couple weeks of failed racing attempts due to weather...I wasn't holding much hope for tonight. I was calling lots of people around town, and it seemed to be raining off, and on everywhere. Me and dad said "screw it", and loaded up and headed to the track...we got out there later than I liked, but we made it withought getting rained on. I wanted to get some passes in before the friday night pack of skwerls made it in.

Got setup quick, got my in car camera mounted, and headed for the lanes. Good burnout, stage..launch off the brake...WHAM!!! WHEEL STAND CENTRAL!!!! I knew it was high...couldn't see nothing but sky out front, and carried them a good ways. Run was nice and clean. Hit the ticket booth...

No changes to the car from the last time running other than we added 2 gallons of fuel to it when we backed it off the trailer <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> . DA in the 2500ft area.

Got back to the pits, and I could tell by the look on dads face it had been a sweet sight to see. Not many LS1's out, but lots of mustang guys came over, and chatted wanting to know about the car. One guy even was amazed when he saw I had all the electric windows door locks, hatch etc. Everybody that came over and talked to us said the bottom of the tires would have cleared the trash barrels in the pits <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> . Wish we had out of car video on that one <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> .

Damn, thats THE best LS1 video I've ever seen. Now when I don't have time to go racing I'll just watch that vid a few times so that I won't have to completely miss out LOL.

Judging by your tach, you launched around 4800 rpm. I've found my best launches at 4500-4800 rpm as well. When I had heads/cam, I had to dump at 6K haha

TH350 sounds like a 6-speed. That is badass!
