Re: Quickest Lid&Catback car?
Reason I ask, last night (10-23) at Cecil County my car went 12.43@112.5 nothing but an MTI lid, Borla, and BFG drag radials. Having PERFECT air didnt hurt

You must've gotten a 1.75s or so. You must have an M6.

Re: Quickest Lid&Catback car?
back in October of '99 I went
12.75@111.77mph on OEM RSA's.
3550lb raceweight.
mufflex 4" & whisper Lid.
1998 M6 Z28
about 0 DA, not that negative DA w/ crazy 30.95 barometer that's always on the East coast.

Re: Quickest Lid&Catback car?
I have a friend here in Jacksonville with a lid and Flowmasters that ran 12.92 @ 107 last week at Gainesville. It's an A4 car on the stock RSA's. 60' was something like a 1.97. Is that about on par with what he should be running?

However, it was actually, 12.75 @ 108.12 mph with just a Lid, FTRA, GMS POS and Nitto DRs. 100% stock exhaust. This was on my '99 Z28 M6.
Derrick
P.S. Then I got a McLeod Twin Disc, FLP LT's and Borla and ran 12.80s @ 110 mph.

Re: Quickest Lid&Catback car?
the 60' was a 1.87, not too sure of this DA thing, but I can tell you the pressure was 31.65"hg, 60something humidity, and 53 degrees, good ol Cecil County..... Ill scan the slips from all 3 runs, this .43 wasnt a fluke, it was actually a backup run to a .47

Re: Quickest Lid&Catback car?
Dont know what the raceweight of a 02 TA WS6 is (pretty fat I bet, spare tire still in it and a case of sodas) but we took my gramamas Pumpkin (its an M6) to MIR yesterday. Went 12.90 @ 108 (1.95) and 13.0 @ 109.3 (2.02) with just a lid we borrowed from Moose (and he took the screen out of the MAF if that helps much) This was on the 17 inch chrome F1s
DA wasnt too good, air temp was down but it rained off and on so humidity was high

Quickest M6 stock motor you mean
Quickest Stock Motor with power adder is:
Silver LS1! ------- 10.58 @ 128.58 (1.52) A4, N20 SI, 3470
My Formula went 12.67 @ 108.83 (1.88) with little more than a lid and catback on GSC's.

Re: Quickest Lid&Catback car?
Those are some wicked times. My runs back in Feb 02 with only 1200mi got me 8 consistent 107 mph traps in pure stock form. I babied it too. Eight months 4000 miles later and the only mod I have added is a lid and the FRA! and the car seems much more (maybe 30-40hp seat of the pants meter) stronger all through the gears I feel certain with some drag radial I should grab some 12.90s if I can launch it right.
