i have them in my car and love them, they are real comfortable if you get the nice seat cover with them, they have lots of foam padding

Thanks ROBS SS , I used to run those poly seats in my "other" cars and even those were not that bad with some added padding.. But this car is to nice to throw those things in.
How easy to mount them?
I am thinking aluminum floor brackets and a back brace connected to the rollbar..
You have any pics?

I have some pics I could email you, Alston made some custom brakets for mine and it is supported in the rear with a bar to the harness bar.

IMO they are like taking a milk crate and putting a cushion in them. I sat in a few and found the bottom too flat the sides are kind of high... I'd do it if I didn't drive the car alot. 15 lbs vs 30 (cloth seats)

Default kirkey race seats?

Anybody using Kirkey seats? Looking to shed some weight from my very heavy TA seats.
Just wondering how comfortable they are on the street.

Max street cruise would be 1.5 hours to the strip <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

The economy drags are 10.6lbs listed in their catalog.
Bg Drg ,I'll keep you guys in mind if I decide to purchase them.

Weighed my 98 TA seats. 48.5lbs driver and 40.5 pass.
A full 89lbs worth of front seating <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

Well I decided on the Kirkey pro street drag. weighs 11.4lbs. I figure with brackets a pair will come in at 30lbs. Nice 59lbs drop.
It looks a bit more comfy than a milk crate. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
Not in red though, lol. You have your pick of vinyl, cloth or velour in many colors.
