10.98@121.44 CAM ONLY!!!
I drove out to No Problem Raceway tonight for an awesome night of racing in some awesome weather.
The only changes since I last ran the car were some shift adjustments and I dropped the borla off the car to run a bullet muffler.
Raceweight 3300
Weather 39 degrees, 81% humidity, 30.33 Baro,
-1700 D/A <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />
This is the weather I've been waiting for since last april.
1.450 dead hook
6.943@97.20
10.980@121.44
I backed this run up with a slight spin
1.475
6.978@97.20
11.018@121.01
Another run of the night, while I was still sorting out tire pressure:
1.50
7.02@96.81
11.07@120.96
It is so nice to set a goal and meet it! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
I'd like to give a big thanks to Allan Futral of Futral Motorsports for all his help with my car. My car went a quickest of 11.59@116 with stock internals, and with Allan's 226/226 575/575 114 cam, ram air setup, tuning, 4.10's, and about a 60 pound weight reduction I now have a ten second timeslip for a car that is just as streetable as it was with stock internals! No race gas, no trailer, and bone stock heads!
Man am I happy <img border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" title="" src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" title="" src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" title="" src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" />

That is absolutely awesome. I am trying to reach that goal myself, but I am trying to do it with S2 heads. You are definitely doing something right. I could see it coming though. Congrats!! <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

That's hauling *** Mike! <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" /> I knew the car would be damn close to 10s tonight and it was. 10s w/ stock heads is an awesome achievement.
Put a set of heads on that beast. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Great run, Mike! <img border="0" alt="[hail]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_hail.gif" /> Guess it's time for me to quit whining about traction and get busy! <img border="0" alt="[Burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" />

Great running car, Mike! I know how much work it took for me to run 10's NA with stock cubes. That's simply amazing to do it with stock heads!!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

Re: 10.98@121.44 CAM ONLY!!!
Thanks everyone <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />
Jim, I am running comp 26918 springs with stock retainers. I have had them in the car since april with no problems. Your car should run similar to mine because of our stock internal #'s, email me so we can talk specifics.
Loco, no I do not have dyno numbers, sorry.
JNorris, I have control arm relocation brackets, no front sway bar, right rear air bag, and 26X10 15 ET Drags (hey that's suspension right?)
Jason99T/A, I plan on trying the new FMS cam before any sort of heads. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
And I think I should rebuild my 26,000 miles stock (10 second <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> ) tranny sometime lol!
Again thanks everyone. It really is amazing what these LS1's are capable of when tuned to the hilt.
