how much ET am I giving up?
What kind of gains would I see switching to a more nitrous friendly converter? Right now I'm spraying my TP4400 with a 150 shot dry out of the hole. My best pass has been a traction limited 10.94 @ 125 in overdrive (4:30 gear ). On the motor the car ran a best of 12.18 @ 110. This converter seems to be working pretty well for me. What do you guys think?
Thanks.

Jeffrey, I'd say your limiting yourself with those 4.30 gears, especially with the 150 shot. Try stepping down to some 3.90s. Your trap speed will increase, while dropping your ET. I think your converter is working good for you, just think about the gears.

I definately need to kill the gears. I plan to do that sometime soon. I'm just wondering if that converter is sucking up power being so loose. I know everyone says it does, but it does seem to work really well for me.

You are racing on 28's?
Anytime you spray 150 and pick up 15mph I think that's pretty darn good.
I think if you could hold out 3rd thru the traps that would be nice, maybe 2mph? Not sure it would help ET maybe just a little...
You might need to do some LS6 valvesprings if you ending up trapping higher rpms.

Good luck to ya.

I thought about joining you with the 30's
And then I will have a little cushion to play with when I add more nitrous
