Eventually... lol
I know what it'll look like, just hafta get around to some grinding and sanding so i can paint the cage and get the interior put in. The steering wheel thread had a pic or two, and Madman has a pic of his camaro with this setup. Get the carpet uncut so that it looks clean with no floorboard exposed where the console used to be.

This weekend I'm swapping for lightweight carpet and adding a pair of x2c motorsports seats to my already console-less interior. I should have some nice pics on Saturday or Sunday.

Ding ding, thanks Dope...Z.

I might cut off the rear seat brackets off the back floor too, since they are never going back in.

Love that cage too!

I'm running a B&M Pro Ratchet.

Dope did you use a lot of spray adhesive, your carpet looks like it lays in there real good.

I am considering cutting my rear brackets out as well, the only thing I'm concerned about is how the Speed Inc. carpet is made. Is there going to be an empty bulge molded into the carpet there, or is it flat and you just slice to make them come through?

Yeah I removed every bracket I could take off. Alot of the are spot welded so just drill out the weld and remove all the unecessary brackets. We used about two aerosol cans of adhesive and the carpet isn't going anywhere unless you really yank the crap out of it.

If you drill out the welds what do you do with the holes?

What if you just grinded them down?

I filled in all the holes left with some epoxy and then sanded it down and painted theinterior of the car black.

I did not notice Brenner's interior since we were all busy talking smack and being 'tarded.

Will a good old cutting wheel suffice?

i used my lil air cuttof wheel for some of them and a cuttoff disk on my sidegrinder for the rest, the brackets are thin and you can eat through them in a hurry.
