Default New Setup for 2005

Finally got the track. NO Nitrous passes this weekend. Just a few runs on the the new supensions and front end. Only thing changed over the winter was to drag a few pounds out of the SS, new Kook headers, some 30x10.5 Hoosiers and a custom air intake.

Last year's best at our track - set up for engine only on 28x9 with a 4800 stall - 11.7's at 114mph. This year set up for nitrous runs 30x10.5 and 4200 stall best of 11.54 at 117.7. Funny thing, as an M6 did 412 to the rear wheels; now with a TH-400 (only change was the Kooks and air intake) did 412 again.

Anyway next weekend we'll see about the nitrous.

Here's a few pictures.

Sweet Dave. 11.54 @ 117 is not bad at all. Good luck next weekend and please post up the DOPE results.

Thanks guys

Brian, last November you called my car over weight (actually I think the words were a little harder ). Well this winter it lost over 300 maybe closer to 400lbs. Haven't weighted it yet. I do wish you were closer to reset the suspension back up. We changed the entire front end. New custom made TQ Arm. New tires and wheels. Need to reweight it on "your" scales. Oh well.

We'll see this weekend.

David

Derek

Thanks. This weekend is only still a little test and tune on the suspension - only a little 100 shot, maybe 150. I'm still not jumping up and down on the suspension set up. But my builder is still making some changes.

Tom

It does look similar to the one that I had as my background for a year or more

You car is still awesome. Hopefully one of these LS1 Tech match ups we'll met.

looks awesome. if you dynoed the same with the TH400 with no changes, then that is very odd. assuming your convertor is just incredibly efficient that is still crazy.

11.5 at your altitude is just flat out sick! come down to the south at sea level and enjoy negative DA! lol.

btw who made your tq arm?

John

The TQ arm was built by the sponsor/builder. Is still is unproven, but so far so good. The whole system is set up for nitrous and it isn't even put back in.

I would love to see negative DA.

Ask all the pro stock teams that visit Florida every December to February. Test and tunes are great b/c the car feels like a totally different animal!
