Talking The new Proshifted tranny is in

lil over a week ago Jason and I brought my tranny over to Alan @ FMS so we could pull my tranny appart and learn WTF we were doing, found that i had killed some of the keys, Alan replaced 1-4 with proshifted stuff, and for some reason we just forgot to put the last 2 gears in.
i swear if he could put a tranny together any faster id have to video tape it and go back and watch it on slow mo.
it will click into all 4 gears without even using the clutch and seems to have no issues on jackstands. if this hurricane ever goes away ill try and put a few miles on it and see just how fast i can buz through the gears.

hoping to be ready for the new testing at the track soon.

We will have:

- spare motor
- spare tranny
- spare DS
- spare clutch
- 4.56/spool
- 2 axles

If he breaks, there will be parts flying.

Too bad my car won't be ready!! Soon........

Good luck finding one-I've heard they are backordered. I was going to pm Madman to see if a tranny blanket would be ok-just for BG-b/c of the backorder prob. I'll def. have one in as soon as they are available-I like my feet!

I'm not 100% sure at this point. I honestly have not thought too much about the motor. My big project this summer is getting the chassis/suspension sorted out and then I'll worry about the engine. Most likely it will be a high-compression 348ci motor, naturally aspirated. I'll make a final decision in a few weeks regarding the exact combo.

Do u use the clutch daily driving it? Or is it more recommended just to throw it into gear?
