Hoosier DOT Drag Radial?
Anyone tried out the new hoosier drag radials? I just noticed them in Summit as a new product. I really like my hoosier slicks and by looking at the pictures these new drag radials look pretty aggressive.
Anyone have a set and try them out yet?

May want to look at this direct from the Hoosier web site.
NOT FOR HIGHWAY USE: All Hoosier Racing Tires including DOT labeled Hoosier Racing Tires are designed for racing purposes only on specified racing surfaces and are not to be operated on public roadways. DOT labeled Hoosier Racing Tires meet Department Of Transportation requirements for marking and performance only and are NOT INTENDED FOR HIGHWAY USE. It is unsafe to operate any Hoosier Racing Tire including DOT tires on public roads. The prohibited use of Hoosier Racing Tires on public roadways may result in loss of traction, unexpected loss of vehicle control, or sudden loss of tire pressure, resulting in a vehicle crash and possible injury or death.

I don't know how their drag radials are b/c they are too new, but Hoosier slicks are better than MT, hands down. Hopefully it will be true with their new Drag Radials. Hoosier is cheaper on everything too.

I've had them on my Cobra and they hook extremely well at the track and almost as equally well on the street. I had the 335/35/17 size tires on mine. They are really aggressive looking too, in my opinion. My best 60' with them was 1.58. However, like some people have already said, the Mickey Thompson drag radials are just as good because I pulled a 1.59 60' with only a 275/40/17 Mickey Thompson drag radial, so they're really equal in my opinion when compared to eachother. Hope this helps. Take it easy.
