Default MT ET Streets Marshmellows??

I did my first runs on my ET Streets and got the feeling going through the traps I was going to lose control of the rear of the car. Man it felt weird as ****.
Anyone else have this experience??

If you have radials on the front it will add to this effect,I call it the 2 ply rumba.I put
et fronts on and it got much better, more air pressure also helps if you can still hook.

As long as you have at least 10psi in them you'll be okay.

Just floorboard it and keep it straight, you'll be fine.

Its normal - just don't fight it or try to correct it! You'll be fine and in time, you'll be used to it.

Also, if you are running stock sized radials on the front, that will exagerate the sway a bunch - you should get some skinnies if this is the case...

are you spinning at all? if your not, why not try adding a few more PSI in the tires?

I've only seen that problem when guys run large front tires. Usaully isn't a problem with skinnies, even radial skinnies.

Of course, MT Drag Radials are very stable

Thanks for the input. I am still running stock tires in front, so they are history!
Just have to get use to it. I am running 15 psi and hooking up pretty good and did not want to go lower. Also one of the tires is moving one the rim. I make 6 runs and it moves about 3 inches. Need to get some Weld ProStars.

You're on the right track - get the skinnies and you'll see a dramatic difference. When you get your new wheels/tires, before you mount them, drill them and screw the tires down so they don't spin on the rim. Summit sells a really nice disc to position the holes on the wheel so you can drill them evenly spaced.
