Something is very wrong. Please give us more info on what your car is doing.

Followed usual routine of pulling just thru water ,line lock on, box in 1 and floor it but the revs only go up to about 1600 max and the wheels are turning very slowly, my mate crewing says it looks as though the rear brakes wear on but we jacked it up in the pits and tested it and they we free with l/lock on.I tried shifting to 2 on next pass but it did same again. Tyre pressure at 15psi. Next run I tried to spin tyres (avoiding water) to do a rolling burnout by hitting it off tickover, but the rears just dug in and it launched up to the line which didn't please the starter who I nearly flattened!!
Even bigger disapointment was only knocking 3 /10's off my best time with new mods in sig.
Whats your routine for burnout?
Cheers Al

You have issues if the car will not hit the rev limiter on the burn out.

I go thur the water stopping just at the edge ot it, put into 2nd gear, set my line lock. I get on her to about 6,000rpms and shift into 3rd, let off the line lock and the gas until the car rolls up close to the prestage lights(this all happens to the count of 3). I clear the motor and put her into 1st gear and turn on the prestage lights.

Coach
the only other thing new is a mail order tune from Westers in Canada.I asked for TM to be deleted and 6200 shift points with rev limiter set at 6400.I will email them to see if they did delete it.
Cheers
