Don't think there is until you're going like in the 8's or something like that and then it's a fire system not just a simple extingisher.

Look at the General Regulations section of the NHRA rule book in section 9:3 pages 224 and 225.
You have to check each class in section 9 "Support Group" to see whether it is permitted or required.
