First time to The Strip, where can I find a 1/4 mile guide? Everyones got a 1st time down the 1/4 mile, I want to be prepared for mine. Where can I find a guide telling what I can expect and what I should and should'nt do? What is a "heel and toe" burnout? Does it matter if I drive through the waterbox or go around then back up into it (assuming I need to do a burnout)? How do I stage a e-brakeless manual tranny car?

No it doesnt really matter if you drive thru the water box or go around and back up into it. Its just personal preference I guess. And you don't need an ebrake at all to do a burnout with a manual car. Just get in the water and spin the tires over to get em a little wet. PULL OUT OF THE WATER BOX and THEN stop a few feet out. Rev the engine up and dump the clutch then grab the brakes with your left foot. Hold it at 5k rpms or higher until you see some good smoke and your done.. You can also do the burnout in 2nd gear if you have low rear gears to get the tires spinning faster creating more heat.
