Default BMR K member/madman manual rack

I have the BMR K member that uses the factory power steering rack and pinion, its this one.. PART# KM002 - Standard tubular k-member with LT1 motor mounts and factory power rack-n-pinion mounts. My question is that Im wanting to go to manual steering. Will either of madmans manual steering kits bolt up to this k member or am I going to have to change the whole k member?

The madman rack bolts in the same spot as factory rack. So you can use that k member. I love mine

MADMAN-how much weight does that save altogether? Just want to know that cost to benefit ratio. I'll spend 2-3 dollars per lb, so if it saves me 20-25lbs, it's worth it.

Are you stupid? Have you even seen anything more than a picture of one of these? Can YOU build one?

no, i'm not stupid. I'm willing to bet I could outsmart your *** any day of the week and twice on sunday.

and, yes, I could build one. I think anyone who wants to put in the time and effort could build one. It ain't rocket science.

Is this your first post?

First post in this section - I didn't realize there was a minimum number of posts required to question a stupid comment.

I came up with 7 pounds difference between the two racks excluding the weight of the pump, pulley, hoses, bracket, and bolts.

My scale says 11 lbs but that is with the factory steering shaft etc. The main deal with this is the steering ratio is changed so the car can be driven easier at lower speeds.
