Default QA1 "R" front springs

I'm looking to change out my front springs, which are stock, for better launches. I have the QA1 "R" w/ BMR spring cups. Would there be any benefit for me to change them out for a 300lb QA1 spring? My car weighs 3380 w/ me in it and a 3/4 tank. I'm adding a chromoly 6 point bar so I figure I'll be around 3420-3430 raceweight. Front suspension consists of a BMR k-member w/ lower A-arms, !swaybar and skinnies, and it is a M6. Any comments or help is appreciated.

My stock springs were rated at 296lbs. I added 100lbs to the front of the car with a turbo kit and had to go to the 325lb spring to stop rubbing the inner fender.

If you change, a 275 is the next step but you will have to crank the adjuster all the way to the top to keep from dragging the nose.....I'd keep the 296's......

I just had Naake test mine. I bought 300# springs a few years back. I now have 250# springs. They do work fine.

The qa1 springs lost that much of their holding ability? 50 lbs seems like alot to lose, about how many miles are on them?

Do the stock springs fatigue that much as well? Has anyone ever tested a set of stock springs that are new, then after they have been on a car for X miles to see what they have lost?

Roughly how many miles before changing out stock springs and hals is really needed?

Who knows if they were ever 300# springs. I did not test them when new. They are about 5 years old and have about 10K on them. The guy at Naake was a bit suprised. He did not think they lost as much as a mistake in rating in the first place.
