Default which side would you mount the battery on in the rear, pass or driver?

which side would you mount the battery on in the rear, pass or driver? Why?

I would think the best side would be passenger but, I thought I seen some people putting on the left but don't know why.
I can run a shorter cable if I mount on the driver.

I decided to mount it in the middle because it was the only place it fit for where I wanted it.

I mounted mine in the center inside of a sealed aluminum battery box. Easy access. Works for me.

i to will have mine in the middle w/ the fuel cell when i'm done w/ the rear bulk head, but i've had it on the passenger side when it was my daily driver. reason being you want to put more weight on that side since the rear is trying to lift that side as it plants the drivers side. think of it as a propeller as one sides being pushed down the other side is comming up

Drivers side would be the best for traction, because under hard accel the car will twist towards the pass side. Putting the battery on the drivers side would counter act that to some degree, help to keep an even weight on both tires.

Backwards.. The reason the car is twisting toward the pass side is, the rear axle is being lifted up into the wheel house.

I'd say passenger's side because thats where most people put it. But if you get the chance to scale the car then I'd see which side would better suit you based on your weight and where it is distributed. If your not going that far with the car then just go the same as everyone else unless of course you put your nitrous bottles on the pass. side.

.

If you are trying to scale your car as close as possible, than pass side helps traction and compensate for the driver. Unless you really have a weird set up. I put dual bats in trunk and my bottles on pass side floor and it really helped.
