ET Drag vs ET Street

ET Drag vs ET Street
May not get many replies but have a Australian Holden Commodore (IRS, coils), t56, turbocharged LS1....
Just looking at tyres for the up coming season and was considering moving from the ET Street (cross ply) 26x10.5x15 to the ET Drag series of tyres. Will be using 15x7 steel rims and already have 15x4" front runners.
Ideally would like a 27" slick but they aren't made except for the ET Street DOT's (27X10.50) so my other choices are:
M/T ET Drag 26x8.5
M/T ET Drag 26x10.50
M/T ET Drag 28x10.50S
Timeslip data is available here. Since then average MPH has increased to 125-127mph. Reason for considering a 27" was because with the 3.9 diff and the 125-127mph trap speed I'm hitting the limiter @ 6400rpm across the line. Testing with a 3.46 didn't net any real gains so I could increase the limiter to 6500rpm or try to find a larger 27" slick (more cost effective than changing to a 3.7 diff)
What do people suggest, use a 27" ET Street or look at the ET Drags?
If deciding to go with the ET Drags, which size is recommended, the 26x8.5 or 26x10.5?
I am toying between the 26x10.5 ET Street and the ET Drags in 26x8.5 and 26x10.5 and am wondering which would be the most ideal choice for grip in an m6.

i also have a m6 3,700lbs car and do 1.42 60 foots on motor.(i may of done better, but no roll cage so the track booted me) i tried et streets and for me they did'nt hook at all(lots of spinning). i tried my buds et drags, they hooked but not as good as they should of(some spinning from the hole) i borrowed a set of tires i never heard of before from a friend. they were called M&H racemasters and they hooked like crazy glue. i went out and got my own set the next day and they hook better then any m/t tire and they out hooked the hoosiers i tried. i run the 26x11.5x15 m&h racemaster cheeter slick. www.intercotire.com this spring i'n going with the 27'' full slick for my new 402ci set up. goodluck to ya.

LIke i said above... the 28X9 ET Drag is only 27.3" tall.... its not a 28" tall tire.... it would fitt better on a 7" wide rim also....
what gears are in the car now??? with a 26" tire...... your going to need to spin sky high if your ET is in the single digit zone...

Am running 3.9's with mph of 127....hits 6400rpm across the traps. Max power is at approx 5500rpm.
So its better to run the tyre that is suited to the rim rather than try to overtyre even if it may provide more contact patch?

What impact would the taller tyre have on 60' times? Have posted a new thread to see if the taller tyre may make gearing too low.
