Default Is this still safe??

Well somehow one of my brake brackets snapped in half last weekend. Luckly it did not happen during a pass. After the bracket snapped, it cut up the inside of my rim pretty bad and put one small indention that you can see in the below pic. So do you all think the rim is still safe or should I look into getting one new alumstar to replace it?

take it to a wheel shop to see if it is still round.

Good thing it's a 3 piece wheel and you only have to buy a rear dish if it is unsafe.

The deepist groove is on the corner of the lip where the rim goes up to meet the tire bead. It is 0.036" deep. The dent that you can see in the picture is 0.045" down in the center. The rim is still round, it just has the one dent and one groove cut in it and some light scratching.

Its a 3 piece wheel, but the outer shells are welded together on the inside so to replace, it would need the whole outer rim.

If it was me, I'de call weld and get a new outer rim from them. That little bit of money is worth it to me as a safety precaution incase the other rim does split and sends the car in the wall.
