Default How are you 6 speed guys going 1.4x.....

The best 60' I have cut to date is a 1.59 on MT ET Streets 26.5 x 11.5. What pressure are you using and what RPM? Any special technique?

Run ET drags. Worth about a tenth over ET streets. I ran a 1.58 with ET streets and a 1.50 with ET Drags with a fairly conservative launch (5000rpm)

I bring the revs up to 5000-5500rpm and on the second yellow floor the gas while lifting the clutch at the exact same time.

Cheers,
Chris

I've cut a best of 1.489 , Thats with 28x10x15 goodyear eagles with 15psi. I usually launch around 6000-6400rpm. and i just drop the clutch has hard as i can and pray nothing breaks.

I'm also shooting a 150 shot out of the hole.

26/10/15 ET Drags screwed to rim 12psi 12-15 second John Force burnout,6000rpm dump on last yellow netted 60 in sig.You probably want bigger meats for the spray out of the hole.

phil

i run a progressive controller, set it at 60-70 percent with a .5 sec build time, and with a 3000 launch at mir i got 1.51's pretty consistant on a 100 shot. i hope to see some 1.4's on a bigger shot and a more agressive launch.

hows the new motor coming? bruce was telling me all about it.

So I guess my 1.57 on Friday wasn't that far off par from everyone else. That was on ET Streets at 15psi.

My car with 4.11's out back and a 3550 lbs raceweight pulled a best 60' of a 1.63 on a 28" ET Drag w/ a 6K clutch drop.....

The next week I got the car down to 3400 lbs and put 4.56's in the car and got a string of high 1.4X 60's dropping the clutch anywhere from 6-6600 rpm. All of this N/A of course.......

The secret is weight, ALOT of gear, a HUGE tire, and ofcourse some big *****
