I hope you didn't pay a lot for this battery.... b/c if you did you just spent a lot of money and time on a battery. You could probably go to your local Autozone(i'm an employee so I have to use my company) and make up some kind of extension. I really don't think that we carry anything for that but you can always engineer something. As far as the battery terminal sizes I couldn't recommend anything but taking the battery with you and try to find the size bolt you need. Other than that..... sell the battery to a freind and go get an Optima(availible at your local AutoZone).

They are heavy! buuuttttt I like em! I can't say that I have one in my car yet(I'm waiting on this other batteries free replacement period to go out). Then I'll go get an optima.... if this battery lasts that long.

Dont know what your battery looks like but I drilled and tapped the positive terminal on this one to mount the positve cable vertical. You can also get more + cable if you pop all the clips going across the fans and pull it to the pass side as much as you can..

If you notice, the battery terminals on this battery are flipped

set it on its side if it is a dry cell battery like the optima. you could make it fit that way.

Yeah the posts should be in the stock position once you lay it on it's side. Alteast it worked in my 98.

I tried that in my car, but for some reason the positive cable is still a bit too short. I'm going to take the positive cable out of the clips that hold it along the fan and see if I can get enough slack.
