Default Gear/Tire Decisions..

'01 WS6 M6

Supercharged, cammed, stock weight. Low 500rwhp, 7000rpm redline
9" with 3.50s (can change gear but not too steep)

What size of slick should be used? Not looking for brands, but info like 28"..

is this for issacs car? but i would go 28inch no doubt with 3.70's

Ya it's for Isaacs. He's sitting right here and we're planning stuff out since he's getting that 9"

nice def the stiff sidewall 28x10.5x15 et drags(same i have in my car except the non stiff sidewall) but please do 3.70's at the least

That's what I was saying. Around 3.73s would be perfect for forced induction and the occasional drag racing.

He also wants to put slicks on stock z28 rims. Those are 16x8s right? So some 275 slicks?

stock wheels are 16x8 and you would put an ET street on those.

I know they're pretty close, but which would be more optimum for cruising around and drag racing? (3.50 or 3.70) Just talking rpm range through the 1/4 and trap

Why everybody is recommending stiff sidewall for ET Drags? I ask because I'm going to order 28x11.5 (regular) for my M6, is this somehow wrong? Tracks are not prepped at all here
