Default DS Loop with X-pipe? /Cage Q

How did you guys do it? I had ro remove the stock brace where a loop would go for clearence.
Any help on how to do it cheap?
What are the cheap alternatives to a cage. I dont want to do this to my daily driver but i should hit 10's next time out with the bottle and i still dont have any safety stuff. Not to mention the wife is TELLING me to get one. Any decent looking affordable cages? I'm on a tight budget.

The best built ready to weld-in rollbar I've seen would be the Wolfe Racecraft... Wolfe Racecraft web page

I'm probably going to be installing one of their full rollcages shortly, and replacing my 6-point rollbar.

Try Jegs DS loop, it tucks way up there. I cant see it being a clearance issue with anything. It's only 39 bucks too, but you have to drill your own holes for it.

Ditto what george said on the wolfe cage.

The lakewood loop seems to be the best with the x pipe setup. I have a wolfe bar thatisn't bad for a street car. I have swing outs and removable crossbar though. Those options aren't cheap though.

Couldn't get the X to fit with my DS loop. I went with a true dual sit up. Maybe I lost a couple of rwhp but nothing to be alarmed about.

Another vote for Wolfe.

Tim, call me and I can tell you what I did. Kept it cheap for my 8 point bar. Very pleased. Your wife is right, listen to her (they must be related).
