Default Removing A/C, but keeping heater?

How easy is this to do? I'm pretty sure they are two separate systems. Has anyone done this?

My A/C took a dump, so rather than fix it, I've sentenced it to the junk pile.

Yes they are seperate. Just unbolt all your ac lines/compressor/remove the condensor. Leave your two heater hoses on the HVAC box and everything will work fine for you.

Also idk if your trying to save weight but you can take your HVAC box and modify if for only heat or at least pull the ac core out the box. If your dash is still in the car then its alot of work for not much of a savings though.

Look over in the LT1 tech area, there are a few posts on this, you basically cut the whole front of the box off, put a delete plate in the firewall with a slot cut in it for the heater hoses to come through.

FOund it fer ya
