Default Comparision between 10% UD and 25% UD

ok so i have the ASP pulley....earlier i was linked to a 10% UD pulley from ATI that only has the serp grooves and is 2.25 lbls lighter.....

what i was wondering if the 2 would cancel each other out... or what do you think would be better

ATI pulley is 10% UD but 2.25 lbs lighter

ASP pulley is 25% UD but weighs 2.25 more due to the added ribs for the AC belt

i have no ac so thats why im asking and have no use for this pulley anymore

thanks
brandon

I think it will even out. ATI is a better quality piece than the ASP.

I have an asp, I wanted to buy an ATI but they were out of stock last year when I was in a pinch.

Next one will be an ati, and to be honest if all you're running is the alt, I don't think the underdrive amount will really matter, you've taken so much of the acc'y load of the motor already the underdrive % of the pulley isn't gonna make a world of difference at this point.

I'm gonna be in the same boat by the time the season starts. I'd go for the ATI for 2 reasons, #1 they're alot better piece, I had to replace my asp last year because it came apart, #2 2 lbs of rotating weight, is alot by any standards.
