Default Impressive new Cobra

I went to the track a couple of weekends ago and there was an 03 Cobra there. I wanted to see what he ran so I watched in the stands for awhile. He launced and all you could hear was supercharger. I must say it was pretty impressive. He ran a 12.37 - didn't catch the mph. I've heard these run like 12.7 right out of the factory. That's nice... Ford builds quite possibly their fastest Mustang ever and GM quits making their sportscars (unless you can afford a $53,000 Corvette). All he had that I could see was the R/F headlamp out and an aftermarket air intake (possibly exhaust). Just thought I'd share this.

Same here WAX, he's spent about $1500 total on the car and is running 11.0's, pulley, tuning, lil juice, exhaust... more boost, harder launches or even jus a lil more spray and easy 10 second car. He's taking car of it though, not going to abuse it too hard

Got a guy here in Gainesville that ran 12.7s at 113 stock. He did 4.10 gears, smaller blower pulley, k & n, and dynomax mufflers (no catbacks were available at the time), and has run 11.88 at 116 on et streets with a 1.69 60 foot.

I still like Mustangs. If the LS1 engine had not come out, I'd still be driving and modifying Mustangs. Never cared for LT1s myself, pain in the *** to work on and not really impressive power for the engine size. 4.6L engines also kinda sucked when I had my 96GT. That thing was a turd!

Nice cars though
