can i hear your theory on LCA's and TQ arms
i have relocation brackets and an adjustable TQ arm. do they fight each other? the brackets try to lift the rear of the car up and the TQ arm tries to lift the front of they car up. my car is not squatting, is this whats causing it?

Jamie. i had the same problem. from my experience, it's the lowering springs. they kill weight transfer. if you have hals, you can help it a bit, w/ stock ride height and a good rear end ratio you should be cutting high 1.5 60's but my car wouldnt weight x-fer for crap with the pro-kit.
reguardless of your suspension setup, you should have a downward angle on the LCA's. whats your pinion angle set at w/ the T/A?

i think the pinion angle is 0 right now. downward you mean like the front of the control arm is higher? they are pretty level right now. where it bolts to the rear is slightly lower than the front.

i have both and they definatly work! , even when it spins the car still pulls hard.
the lower control arms shold have the front part of them higher than the rear .
if you have several bolt holes on your lca use the lower most one.

Well I read everyone one of those posts and now I have a screaming headache. After all that pinion angle still seems to be the most important setting of all with the "F" body suspension. The suspension is always going to be in "bind" except for that split second before launch.

FWIW, I've always had the best luck on my car with some sort of LCA relocation bracket. The one's on there now are home-built pieces, and I have a fairly aggressive angle on the LCA's.
My does not squat at all on a launch.

nice link. thats all very good information.
Jamie, you might try putting 3-5* (a maximum of 5* for the street) negative angle in the rear. that and if you can make the LCA's angle downward towards the rear of the car, should bite a little bit better. i hope that helps.

I talked with Maddman several times about suspension set up and he suggested 3 to 3.5 DG of pinion angle for my equipment. I'm at 3.0 DG with the rear centered as closely as I can get it. BTW, I've got his adjustable LCA's, love'm bad ****!!! New track numbers to come !!!

Something as far as torque arm mounting goes, that I was curious about:
Let's say that someone had a crossmember made that would allow you to adjust the height of the front attachment for the torque arm. If you have an adjustable torque arm, you could adjust the height of the front torque arm mount, while keeping your pinion angle at whatever angle you wanted. Would raising the front mount raise your instant center, which would help weight transfer?
