If you leave the rim shells out in the direct sunlight for an hour or so before hand it helps(they grow slightly and the center fits the flange easier, especially if thee flange has been built up with powdercoat or anodize.) Make sure this flange area is smooth and doesn't have too much paint build-up. Use a dot of red locktite on the threads start the bolts and tighten around the wheel(like a cylinder head) in a star pattern in about three progressive pulls to keep the center from getting cocked, and finish around 26-27 ft. lbs. Don't just throw them in there and hope there OK. Too much riding on them.
