Default Dynoed my TFS VRX5 FAST combo today

Update: Redynoed....changed pushrods for correct lifter preload....heres the new dyno graph...468.5 RWHP 417.3 RWTQ SAE...actual numbers were mid 480s....not sure if my clutch was slipping or not on the dyno we couldnt figure out how to switch it from afr to mph to check for clutch slip
here is a new dyno graph and below that is the first dyno graph from the info below....
Not as much as I had hoped for but....
Took my car to the dyno to put a few finishing touches on my tune....Im going to another dyno to back it up and clean up a few more things in a couple weeks...
Speed Density Tuned it myself
Was on my 305 Drag radials at 25 PSI
SAE 465 RWHP 412 RWTQ
STD was high 470s
dyno's wideband read 13:1...my incar WB read 12.5ish....Ill take it to the track and see what kind of MPH i run...shooting for 125mph
BTW it was on a Dynojet 224 for anybody who wants to know
blue is when my first pull....took 7 pulls to get it to the red graph

Hmm, what did you dyno stock?

I would have guessed 480-490rwhp and closer to 430rwtq out of that combo, especially with a stock 3.42 gear. Maybe if the heads had been milled down to 58cc or so with thinner gaskets you could have closed in to 480.

Looks good either way. What was the timing?

i was expecting higher too....dynoed a couple months ago with headers x pipe stock Ti's, vararam, and a tune that was in it when i bought it....pulling 7 degrees of timing made 382rwhp.....
This pull AFR was dialed in...no KR....28 degrees of timing
wishin I had my heads milled to 59cc's

The numbers are not bad, but milling the heads would have definitely helped.

Well, weren't the heads milled to 61cc? I mean, if this were 64cc heads, then 465 isn't too shabby, but 61cc and it looks a little soft.

382rwhp isn't great, but it isn't bad either and the KR wasn't helping.

Looks like good power... If you ever have the money/time, get the Heads milled.

Go to the track and check your mph. That will give you the best indication of your power output

CNC 215....MILLED TO 61cc...when ordering Ron talked me into the 61's over the 59's for some reason maybe PTV Clearance with my cam? or that its a daily driver not sure?

stong numbers. where's the U/D pulley? also, you gave up some with running the tires at 25psi. takes more power to move softer/deflated tires. next time up, go to 32psi...

also, what are the specs on the cam...

It's a tad on the low side but people need to realize not every TFS/Fast combo with a big cam is going to make 500HP. The cc difference probably cost you 8hp or so, but i'm sure Ron advised against it due to PTV clearance issues.

The #'s aren't bad. Run the **** out of it for a while and redyno in a couple of months. I bet you'll be in the 470's.

i would be happy with a 460-470 rwhp H/C combo!! im sure that cam is very, very drivable too!! the VRX5 would be the biggest i would go for a DD.

if your on stock clutch its not going to hold. time for spec 3+
my ls6 one didnt it sat on the floor. on street tires it was fine but any type of tire that would hold the power the clutch would not.

I dont think its bad at all. You have to look at the setup.. for 500 you need milled to 59cc or 58cc easy. Cam in the intake 230s and exhaust 240s. Thats what mine is around.

465rwhp at 61 if you did 58 I would say near 490 with the same cam. Now change cam to their bigger cam the 240/244 and you got 510+
