Nice torque but the rwhp seems low to me....from the other similar setups.
My buddy went from 492rwhp to 540rwhp on his 408 by swapping out his ETP 225s and installing TFS 235s.
So His buddy bought the ETP 225s and put them on a stock bottom end LS1 346 and made 482/440! (of course with a cam and all the other goodies)
Its weird how those ETPs performed awesome on the 346 but not on the 408.

Swap the K&N out for a Vararam and you'll pick up a big chunk. As in 25 hp. The elbow kills those things.

Nothing wrong with the heads. They make good power.

holy sh**, Ed. I figured maybe it would be worth a few, but 25?

and since the Vararam is not available for the '04 GTO, guess I either have to roll my own or convince Svede to make one for me...

Javier, are you making a Svede cai for yours?

Whatever you do, get rid of the elbow.

Those are killer numbers in a GTO w/elbow. Those ETP heads always work when paired with the proper cam. They don't need crazy cams to make killer power.

Gregg, i have one. my friend frank (gnfan) made one for his 05(meaning it is the "lower one" b/c of the radiator). didn't use it, so i ended up with it.

the increase in low and mid is down right ridiculous with my current setup! one of the main reasons i am being stubborn about keeping the 90mm intake.

sending you a pm.

Quadman - Did Jeremy just tune this for you while he is in Gettysburg?

About the CAI - He modded one up for his GTO here in FLA, I'de ask him about doing one for you as well while he is up there.

Yes, Jeremy just tuned it last Friday at Keith's Pitstop. Great guy, great tuner. He spent about 2 1/2 hours with it on and off the dyno.
We discussed how the intake is choking off the engine. He told me to fab up a "hardcore" intake. We discussed other stuff as well.
Gettysburg is a 200 mi drive for me, which really leaves no time to fab anything there. I make the drive to see Jeremy because I trust him so much. He is the only one to have ever tuned the car.

With that cam, I'd be happy. From what the other guys are saying, you might be able to pick up some more RWHP.
