Default H/c 6.0 dyno 480/435whp

I had a chance to dyno my head cam 6.0 and I made reall good numbers. Just wondering if anyone else has made close to 500 or more with a 6.0. Mods are
Lq4 with mahle pitons 11.1 to 1 compression
Stock ls2 rods with arp bolts
Stock crank with arp main studs
Tex cam 244/249 614/619 on 110lsa
Patriot stage 2 243 heads 227cc/85cc with 2.02/1.57 valves
Hardlandsharp 1.7 roller rockers
Fast 92/92 setup with light porting done by myself
1 3/4 headers with y pipe and borla catcack
car is six speed with 373 gears
Got to run at the track fastest pass was 12.3 at 121mph with a 2.2 60ft and 8.4 at 95mph in the 1/8th spinning to the 1/8th car was on street tires

Whats your intake setup.... Like lid, maf, bellow? Chris 1313 was at 485hp to the wheels and when he went from 13/4 headers swap to 17/8' and a good flowing y-pipe change he saw a 15 horse increase and good increase on the torque as well. Mayby a speed density tune. Your so close to 500!!!!

If you dont mind me asking, what did you end up paying for machine cost on the Mahle pistion swap?, What other hard parts were needed other than the pistons and LS2 rods? I'm also looking at doing an Lq4 with 11.x:1 Compression.

Those are nice numbers, especially with patriot heads. 95mph in the 1/8 is nice too.

Is that on a lq9 or ls1, ect.. only reason I ask ms3's usually don't make a large amount of torque always, Just curious I love that combo always shown to be a true performer...and just another question not trying to be a deush but what's the significance of your post towards the op lol ?

Thats with an lq9. I posted that because the op asked if anyone else has made close to 500 with a 6.0

480/435 is only ~30/20rw from the TOP power levels of a 6.0 lsx, why would you expect more? Hes running stock castings, not ported AFR's or Trick Flows...

OP, do you have a graph? Great #'s for stock castings and basically off the shelf parts .

Maybe cuz the TRex cam is huge and should definitely put up higher peak numbers.. I'm running stock casting heads and gained 55rwhp & 36lb/tq so ur argument is neglible there. Plus he's working with a 4" bore.

So are you saying that a run of the mill, $1200 set of stage 2 243's flow just as well as your AI heads?

Yes he does have a 4" bore but going off the information given, I really doubt they've been opened up to take advantage of it.

Donkey dick cam or not, it made good #'s. Really no need to hate.

1 7/8" & X pipe you will be able to push 500rwhp

Pretty sure I said "good numbers" in my opening comment to the OP.. I wouldn't doubt at all if they flow the same if not more than my heads. If you want to see how much my heads flow go to AI's website and look at the flow chart they have posted. I think you need to quit hating on my posts seems you are butt hurt that I said I would expect more.

Cool story bro lol.

I make about the same power as you and average 95mph with a best of 97 in the 1/8th. See what I did there?

wasnt a cool story bro.... just joining in for people trying to reference their power or doubt his. wasnt trying to do anything other then that. was just a quick post for people saying 95 mph does seem a bit low for 480 rwhp in a 6 speed

going for 110 mph traps with my new turbo setup in the 1/8th so whatever you think i was trying to say is just not true

No joke! It would crack 500 whp if he had afr's or tfs's. Different headers will help too. Great, powerful budget combo!
