I remember. I cut the new air box too.

I might do flex tune using a van pcm too. I think you might want to do that. No repin needed.

If I can do flex fuel sure. Should be worth a tenth and mph. You have tons of it in South Florida. We in central Florida not so much

I got you. Sounds good. Never really thought about it. I'm stuck on 93(maybe a little 100 at the track).

Update.

My friends over at Wilson Manifolds just updated their website. Check it out. http://www.wilsonmanifolds.net/wm/ecart/

Some people may have heard I finally got an "ok" tire on this thing. I went with the nt555r 305/40-18. So far very happy with the tire. Going to try & get back to the track next Friday for a couple runs. Don't think I'll touch 11 but it is a possibility. Still a dog off the line. My mph should be 120+. We'll see.

Hey 64,

Your 383 is running strong!

Last it was on a Dynojet around the end of 2016. I'll post the graph.

One other thing I'm set on doing is moving to 1 7/8 headers. Hopefully it will be done by the middle of the year. I'll definitely have it back on the dyno after the swap.

Yeah, Im up to 534/ 461 now, I want to try My ported LSXRT with the 105mm TB, my tuner thinks it worth 25ftlbs. more at peak and more everywhere else and probably not lose more than 5hp if any at all.

Heck yea! I read about the couple things you did to get the new numbers. Making good power.

It would be cool to see the difference between the two manifolds. Who did the port work on the LSXRT?

I did. I used a template and inside caliper to get the runners and entries as uniformly the same. I couldnt let myself spend $600 + shipping both ways to get it done by MMS. I copied one that he did, ahh kinda.

Best of four passes. It was the third pass. I really shouldn't have made the fourth pass but I saw the 12.1 & said "heck" might as well try one more time for an 11.99. The clutch was getting a bit hot & started slipping a tad more than normal.

Happy with results. Next get them 1 7/8 headers on there.

Still 122+ is nice, its showing some power. I can't wait to get back out, I added a MSD 2step and I think that will help my launch. I won't stop adding or subtracting stuff until I hit 130mph, the Moroso slide rule says I should do it easily with my weight (3216 with me) and HP. 383's, they're the red headed step child of LS motors.

Thanks buddy.

Nice! I'm sure the 2 step will be positive with your launch.

Your best trap so far is 127mph? What rpm are you going through the traps?

Technically 126.88mph and that was before the tune was finished and the bigger TB was installed. I did have bullets on then. I was never able to get it e.t. very well because after i dumped the clutch it would kind of fall flat for a sec and then go like crazy. The tuner said he added fuel everywhere, and it does feel a bit different but I won't know until i get out to the track if it any of it makes a difference, I suspect it will.

About 5600rpm through the traps, thats in 4th gear with 373 gear and 28" tall tire. 5800 is the magic number for 130ish, 200 rpm doesn't sound like much but I think it will be a lot of work to get it.

Have you thought about maybe trying some 26" tires? Get your rpm up out the back door. I bet it would help your et & mph.

26" tires isn't always better. Most 10 sec cars on here seem to do best/better with a 28" tire. gear ratio has alot to with it but the 60ft is key. In order to be a "killer" the 60ft needs to be 1.4 or better.
