Hey guys i tried a search but no luck. A buddie of mine just got his car dyno tuned and the tuner told him that that cam was one of the best ones he has seen for our cars. i went to their web site but there isnt a dyno graph for this cam. the specs are 224/227 563/569 114. what do you guys think. i am leaning towards the g5x3 but dont know. i cant make my mind up. maybe the 228 cam is what i need. thanks

my buddies car is an 98 a4 w/ 410's, 3500 stall (or 3600), jet hot lt's, asp , billy boat exhaust, hypertech, lid. i think thats right, anyway he made 335 rwhp and 420 rwtq. he was asking about a cam because that is going to be his next mod and thats what the guy told him to go with. i think i want something a little bigger. cant decide

Would that happen to be Jeff Creech at CAM? He recommended the same cam to me for my 2000 A4 vette. I ended up getting a great deal on a Comp 225 .563 114LSA so got that. Like the other guy said the TR cam will get a few more ponies up top and is best utilized for SC, N2O apps.
I am also installing a TNT F2 N2O kit so went with the 114 LSA instead of 112 that would make power lower in the RPM range

thanks for the graph jrp. those are some good numbers for that size cam. good luck on your numbers cajun. oh yea, jeff is the man when it comes to tuning. my buddie picked up 36rwhp and 90 rwtq! on a stock car w/ bolt ons. but his torque management system was messing up. thats why he got so much torque from the tune. thanks everyone.

I am going to order a cam very similar to if not the TR224/227 myself. I want a 224/226 but according to TR the exhaust side supposedly checks in around 226 anyway. Works for me.
I use N2O and daily drive my car. The TR224/227 seems to a good cam for my type of set-up.
