A few more bolt ons and it should make a little more power

A big thanks to Mikey at Rapid Motorsports. He has tuned my car 3 times and i would highly reccomend his skills to anyone.

I will see if Mikey can post a gragh later today.

The TQ is very low for your combo, and the Hooker CB is up
there with the best of em in terms of flow.

Take her to the track and get some results where it counts

What all was changed to drop your numbers from 438hp/396tq (in your sig) to 422HP/368TQ?

Definately think she should make a little more power, try putting a cutout on it! The last one we did made well past that. I would expect to see about 390-400 torque.

Its common for the hooker aerochamber baffle inside the muffler to break loose and restrict flow. It happened to mine. Does the muffler ever rattle? Id definitely try a cutout. The hooker flows well until the baffle breaks loose after that it flows like ***..... That could defnitely explain the low torque output. Id say you have quite a bit left in the combo, once you find out the problem.....

In reading through his other posts it seems that the old setup numbers were through a stock 10-bolt rear and the new MS3 cam and PRC heads were through the 9 inch rear.

Is this correct getlifted?

The Hooker cat back sucks,so your #'s look pretty good. Also the rear with 4.11's hurt dyno torque readings.

The Hooker catback flows VERY well. I only gained 2-3rwhp over mine with an open cutout when I had my 02 bolt on cammed Z28(405rwhp).

dont blame hooker, thats not hurting you, is a mix of the cam and heads, i see this over and over, torque is just too low IMO. my friend did better than that with stock ls1 heads and ls6 cam and a cat back i assure you was hurting more than yours. sell the heads and cam and get a proven combo, JMO

I agree the tq is way low. The difference in combo's is the heads were stage 2 with bigger valves, underdrive pulley, wide open exhaust, stock 3.42 rear on the old setup. I really don't know what to think at this point???? I have some rear end issues to work out right now.

The hooker catback flows good in my opinion...
But ya might gain 10hp up top with a cutout.
You have a 440hp setup...but with the rear end your loosing power.
here is my dyno graph....high dyno was with the cutout open, the other is with it closed...
i lost 10.35hp/3.72tq
