Default D-1SC + Alky & KB BAP

I dynoed the car yesterday after getting my meth kit & BAP installed. I picked up ~ 40hp & 50lbs of tq from Julios kit & the BAP!

My best run made 618rwhp & 760rwtq SAE at 13 psi. I should be able to make more after I get the damaged impeller fixed (I lost 1-2 lbs of boost from that) & rework the air intake. But overall I am happy.

But I think this is the limit of stock fuel rails & lines. It was holding 60 psi & running low 11 a/f down low, but went to mid 12 above 6k rpm. The Inj duty cycle was under 90. Oh, and it hit 660+ hp on a too-lean aborted run....

Here is my dyno chart of the best run.

nice #'s I just put down 553 rwhp on a N/A 408 iron block but need to get the vacume pump working correctly (that's good for about 25 HP) and then tweek it a little more. Hoping to break over 600 RWHP N/A then gonna hit it with a D/P 200-300 HP shot as well.

That's crazy power.

Seems like your torque is taking a huge dive at 3750 rpm's. Do you know the reason for this? If the torque curve extended further you'd be making a lot more hp.

Did you try cranking up the pe table in top end? I think you can go as hi as 1.9? Maybe you need to get the dual nozzle meth setup? Congrats buddy goota love the meth.

Mark, try the return and regulator at the rails, this with your other fuel mods should support over 700hp. Nice numbers for sure, congrats buddy.

Nice numbers, Mark! We typically see 600 rwhp on my Mustang Chassis Dyno as the limit to the stock fuel lines and fuel rails. Bob

Thanks for your help Bob! And I think you are right, I've stuck all the bandaids I can on this fuel system & pushed it to it's limit.....it's time to do it right over the winter. And work on the air inlet.

The cam is a Cam Motion custom grind, 226/232, 575/595, 115 LSA that Ellis & Jimbob @ Speed Secrets spec'd - Comp R lifters, Pro Magnum rockers, Patriot Gold springs, dual roller gear & chain.

The VE table is over 100 & the PE is at ~ 1.6 in the higher cells. Not sure how much more I can milk it. But I will be fine tuning it at the track this weekend.

As for the tq, that's where the converter flashes. When the tires don't get blown away that is. They had to roll into it so the tires didn't spin & the tq curve went off the chart. This was the best number they could get.

Is this with the return and reg at the rails, or in stock config?

whats up with the peak tq so low and the numbers just start decreasing.... cam setup? head setup?..... just seems like it should have more power higher, but its all in the setup and how it flows. shift at 4800rpm to put ya back in the tq curve, lol.

that just doesn't look right.... seems like something is maxing out and not liking it.

That's what my question was about too, and he just explained it.

"As for the tq, that's where the converter flashes. When the tires don't get blown away that is. They had to roll into it so the tires didn't spin & the tq curve went off the chart. This was the best number they could get."

In other words, realistically he isn't putting that number of torque down on the street. If it wasn't for the converter, you could see exactly what he's puting down. Doesn't really matter, because the second half of the HP curve is what really matters at the strip.

Hey Mark, did you log that run by HP tuners? The dyno'd RPM is off, if you shift at 6600 you might be leaving some power on the table. I'll bet its closer to 6200 that you should be shifting at for the best average power. Some of my Dyno sheets have me pulling to 7500 rpm when I actually lifted no higher than 6300 all three pulls.

For instance, in this Graph I lifted at 5880 rpm:

Very nice.

That isn't even a real dyno # either.Looks like it's blowing through the converter On a 6sp car it would be alot higher.
