Dart 205/ F13/ FAST 90/90 - Dyno Results
Picking my car up today from Eastside Performance in CT, but the results are:
423 HP / 397 ft-lbs Torque on a DynoJet
I am happy with the results and they seem reasonable since I am running a Ford 9” with 4.11’s and a Catted Y-pipe. What do you guys think?
Mods are in my sig, with the exception of the 85mm MAF. My tuner recommended using the stock MAF instead.

Those are very good numbers. It looks like they are the actual HP numbers for that day. You need to find out what the weather data was, and see if you can get some SAE corrected numbers.

Who tuned the car now that Alfred's not there anymore? Was it Kenny?
I personally am not seeing how his Dart heads are making bad power considering that heavy, geared rear and the cats he's running through. Looks like decent numbers to me for out of the box heads that cost $1,200. I would be happy with that. Not everyone has the money for $2,500 heads.
I still don't understand Eastside's tendency to talk everyone out of putting a bigger MAF on the car. I know they say they didn't see big improvements on their cars, but I've seen mixed results on here and some very decent gains. Did you already have the 85mm and they talked you into putting the stocker back on? I just don't get it.
And I'd definitely like to see some SAE numbers, as well. I guess if your numbers go down from that then the Dart argument above might make sense but in this weather we've been having, I can't see how they'll change too much.

Seriously guys, why do you all think that a aftermarket MAF of the 85 will give up more power? It still going to max out at the same power level and you can use the money saved on other speed goodies. Now if we had a say 40mm MAF, then we would need a bigger opening. Once you max you stocker, go SD. Or get real fancy and run two MAFs(in parrallel not series). A engine will pull what air it needs thru the stocker. But then its your money. Take your car to the track and see the results there.

I definitely didn’t want to remove the 85mm MAF and Lid since I bought it to complement the FAST 90/90 setup. Don’t get me wrong, Eastside did great work on the car. It just surprised me when they asked that I run the stocker, especially when I read plenty of posts with people running the bigger MAFs with zero problems.
And to answer PewterScreaminMach’s question – Yes, I believe Kenny did do the tuning.

I've seen alot of screwed up 85mm MAF's= expecially the Ganatellis. The stock descreened MAF flows very well,port/knife edge it and it flows extremely well.
Most tuners do not want to tune in a 85mm MAF setup because it takes more time. Also requires to be street tuned or use a load dyno. From what I've heard ESP will only tune the car on there non-load dyno, not hit the street with it.This is why they want the stock MAF.

how big is the stock maf on the zo6? anyone know.
I am doing a ported 92 to 100mm and a rev extreme 100mm tb and was wondering if I should pick up the LME 100mm MAF to get a full 100mm setup.
Please let me know what you think SLOHAWK, very much appreciated.
Should I run the stock maf or the 100mm lingenfelter unit for my setup.
