6.0 L GTO vs. 1998 Trans Am
Met a guy at this gas station who said he wanted to run his 2006 GTO against my TA. Who do you think will win:
2006 6.0 GTO has:
Cold air intake
Manual Trans.

fat kid driving
My Trans Am convertible has:
K&N FIPK II cold air intake

Stock 3.23 gears

One of my first races in my goat was against a 96 Z28 that had full bolt on's/tune and I was stock and beat him everytime.

I'm also going with the GTO unless he really can't drive or the race is from a dig and he screws up the launch.
As for the LT1 vs GTO thing, I agree that an LS2 GTO shouldn't be getting beat by a bolt-on LT1 unless something is up. Even an LS1 GTO should do pretty well. My dad's 2004 M6 GTO is about dead even with my G8 and my G8 walks my brother's mild bolt-on LT1 every time. I could see an M6 LT1 being alot closer to me with a full bolt-on M6 walkin a bit, but a stock LS2 GTO will run away from me.
