Tune time has a tendency to be a little shady when it comes to pricing(I.e. they will tell you a tune cost X amount and then tell the next guy that a tune cost something totally different). I've also heard their dyno puts out numbers rather low(I know of a 23x/23x cam only car making only 360 rwhp). I went up to TTP in Passiac at the time. They are now in little falls. They are a great group of guys and my car picked up a descent amount of hp from the tune for only $250. Local 3 shops around that I would recommend TTP $250 on a dynojet, ECS $400+ on a dynapack, and last Tune Time $??? on a mustang dyno. It all comes down to how much you want to spend and what kind of dyno you want your car tuned on.

Dynometer = Tool for Selling Parts and Services, Making a combo make the best and safest power.
There is no one dyno model and the #'s can vary.
At the track is what matters, although M6 cars ON AVERAGE will do worst then Auto cars due to advantages over the M6.
I look at dynos to make sure my car is running safe. Dynojets on average is the most common of all models and often you will see those #'s posted. Driveline will effect over all #'s not to mention some people who DO manipulate the #'s
As far as cost, just like Garages, they charge you a flat rate, and maybe more if your require ALOT of part throttle tuning. As much as I dont like spending any $$$ your paying for their expertise, if they have a ball park file to get the car with in specs and then play with some adjustments, thats their right and their privilage. At least they are not "learning" on your car lol.
My advice is to get to know your tuner, often he also does other modifications personally and you can learn what works and what doesnt. Check for feed back always, if they have been in business more then a year, people have used them. Just ask around.

Tune time is a great shop had my motor built there and wouldn't go anywhere else for work personally. Matt is a great tuner and knows his LS series motors. and yea he uses a mustang dyno which gives you more real world numbers as to using a dynojet which will always read higher numbers then a mustang dyno which is why everybody post those numbers
