Everyone's worrying about this roll cage rule.....Did you ever see one of these F-cars break a c-clip axle at around the 1000 ft. mark? Or better yet, break a U-joint on a car without a driveshaft loop while going thru the traps? That's when the brown-stained underwear come into play.....

While the rule changed, seemingly overnight, LVD is quite the haul for me, like 2.75 hrs & that's A LONG WAY away from home in case of breakage where as NED is like 45 mins away & my premium AAA (towing good for 100 miles or less) would get me back home.

Rollbar / Rollcage: A minimum of a 6 point roll bar is mandatory all convertibles running 11.00 to 13.49 ¼ mile
I'm probably going to put a Magnuson on my C6 when it comes in so that should put it somewhere in the mid 11s. There is no steel tubing going in that car! At least it will be fun to drive on the street.

Even without the charger your going to need the roll bar.

They dont inspect the cars all that well anyhow, as long as the bar is in there and the mounting brackets are under the rug they'll never know.
