Default Some changes coming

As some as you know we are making some changes at Dez Racing. We are currently redoing our website and adding some more phone lines. This will be followed with an internet store. We are also expanding our tuning abilities to include 2-3 bar and SD tuning for LS1's.Also shortly we will be adding work on the new Dodge's along with tuning. This is ontop of tuning all Fords.

We are also exploring maybe hiring a few more people to help us on some builds since work has gone through the roof.We will require a good knowledge of LS1's and Fords or atleast the ability to learn quickly. Our projects range from H/C daily driver's to 1000+hp drag cars.

Thanks for reading

Be glad to help out anytime Don. Fresh out of training and PLENTY of experience with the LSX motors... Just got a job right down the street in Plainville, so if you ever need a hand... let me know.

You can judge my work in April when I take her down for a tune

Glad to see it is going so well!

Im interested in working for you. I have a better resume than last year too... and I got into the automotive field with the intentions of moving into the performance segment. But I had to start somewhere so I went to a Chevrolet dealer.

They get paid what they are worth. The last kid we had from a tech school was real lazy.He didn't make much at all. The catch is we really don't have time to watch over someone putting together a $10g + motor combo. If the motor has a problem it is our problem, which means we lose $$. Kind of a catch 22

very understandable. You definitely need someone with a decent amount of experience, especially when customers are willing to fork out that kind of money

Hey Don what does a Speed Density tune entail? Do you think it's worth while for a street car? MAFS suck anyways.

The down fall is that you need to install the MAF at inspection time.So every year you car might need to change tunes.
The MAF is actually very good

I forgot about that. It probably throws tons of codes huh. Oh well.

I suppose the gains aren't worth the hassle.

not really...once you rid the car of the maf you just tell the computer the maf is no longer in effect...but I think its a part of the readiness checks once you go through inspection so you'd need to throw it back on & reenable the maf to pass. Maf is considered a restriction in alot of cases so you can see gains...also doing 2/3 bar setups can have more accurate/consistant fueling because the maf/computer maxes out at around 8psi basically.

The website is almost ready to put online.
Got some new supplier's so we can offer alot more stuff.
