Next time go to room 104, and fill out the release to allow you to go past the starting line where the E-Town Photographers are. You can get pics from the front like that. Sometimes they give you one of those paper admission bracelets, usualy at events.

Yup. You pretty much fill out your name and sign on a release form just like you would if you were driving. Sometimes they are dicks about it, but I was able to go almost all the way to the 60' as long as I was not leaning on the concrete wall or "too close" to the track.
