New Challenger sightings
Saw two new Challengers in the last few days. One at a local cruise night:
And then one tonight at BK on the Pike:
Crappy cell phone pics don't do it justice. This car is gorgeous in person. Really well executed all around. The owners seem to love them too. All you need to own one is about $60k in spare change and you are good to go.

OK..answered my own question....R/t =370 @5800, ~4100 lbs....SRT 8=425 @6100, ~ 4200lbs
It looks very nice....but way to heavy. Should be a decent match up for a stock ls1. (SRT8)

I dont know why people buy the first year, first off the next year or two always comes out with another model that has like 20-40 more hp usually and fixes any issues the previous year had and is not 25 or more grand over msrp. Nice looking car and all if you got money to burn though...

For that kind of $ you definately can buy a new vette which performance wise, will kill that car all day long.
But to be honest a new vette doesn't do it for me, that car does look the part. The weight is the killer, you couldn't even make that car light if you wanted to LOL
Nice cars, maybe when they've been around for a couple years I'll think about it, because for 65 grand they can keep it
