Default Gear Change in South FL

I currently have 4.10 gears in my automatic 98 z28. Not to found of them, they really dont match the cam, and actually hurt me I believe at the track. So if I supply the gears cause I have my old 3.73 how much would labor be? Just trying to gauge how much Im going to spend.

Not to take away business, but look into buying a used rear end. I bought a rear-end with 45k miles for $350 delivered (from a sponsor that I believe is no longer a sponsor). Had the eaton posi and 4.10 gears already in there.

Not buying another 10 bolt already did that with this one. I think the posi went out in mine so I got this one for 500 dollars. 4.10 locker and girdle. I wot put major money into it cause it's a 10 bolt but I'f my old gears are good and it doesn't break the bank i will do it

Ok, just saying it's a an option if you're thinking about $400 for install. You could sell your 10 bolt and buy another and maybe spend $100 if that.

Eric but I think your a cut above, you know my story. I'd like to bet and see if my pinion race was replaced. Good to know your price, I'm starting my business trips down there early Nov. I've got to stop by.

No worries! Congrats on the car man, it's beautiful!

Appreciate it.

Hell, we pulled a 4L60 apart today that was supposedly "rebuilt" that was more or less stock, and not even assembeled correctly lol....it happens!

Chris is a smart guy, he'll get set up!
