Northeast Florida DYNO DAY ?!?!
Does anybody know of any upcoming dyno day events in NEFL? Hell, I'll even head down to Orlando/Tampa area if theres something around there too.. If there's nothing going on anywhere, is there any interest in getting a group together and making it happen? What shops around here have a good facility and dyno that want to get some business!?!?

I was never into this sort of stuff. Never understood the point of it. That could be why alot of people are not interested. There alot more popular in the northern states bc of the long winters I guess and cars having to be put up for storage.

Yep you solved it man.

Sorry @OP that I can't provide a suggestion to you. For what it's worth, there's a shop 4 hours south of you located in Fort Myers that does two pulls with dyno print out for $60.

I support your point with a dyno test day in St. Augustine. True there are many alternatives, but, I know you guys don't have quite as much track population/availability up there. I bet if you keep looking you can find something! Daytona is an hour away and after living in Tampa myself I have to imagine you can find something somewhere around.
If not, make it happen buddy! There is tons of info out there

^^ Damn! hehe.. I just figured I'd post this here in the Florida section and see whats going on out there. I used to live in San Diego for a couple years and remember seeing posts occasionally about dyno day events. I just never seem to get wind of these things and would love to know where to look or when to be on the lookout if there's a regular time of year or whatever for this stuff in FL. I'm not looking for something to be right here in my home town but, I just figured, anybody with a dyno would being interested in publicity and organizing events like this. I mean, hell, if you run 30-50 cars through in a day at 50-60 bucks a pop and give'em 2-3 pulls, thats like 1500-2500 bucks and a little publicity for the shop. have no idea if thats even preferable for anybody with a dyno or not but, just always seemed like a good time when I went out. Ah well.. guess I'll settle for some more links to car events/cruises and such that anybody knows about.

A couple of years ago , I went to the slamfest show in Gainesville fairgrounds in october. They had a mobile dyno rig there, which was a poor thought for a lowrider show. Haven't thought about going back to one of those shows due to the literal low class of most of the people there.
So there is something around sometimes, just a matter of finding it.
