I already have the R's up front ... great road racing tire for the front ... love 'em, man. The Nitto DR's out back have to got, though. As you know, being an A4 with a SS3600 YanK I overpower the tires, so, just waiting on the wheels which will be here Tuesday. Once they get here, I'll mount the new MT 315/35R/17's out back. I plan on running her at OSW next Wednesday. You outta' come on out, John.

John, sorry you're having such a time getting your car back. The MT Street Drag radials are far superior for drag racing. They're a softer compound than the slicks and you don't get the looseness at the end of your runs like you do with slicks. A lot of serious racers have switched to them. They're night-and-day difference from the Nitto Extreme 555 DR's. I've had several sets of both and The MT's are hands down the best for sticking. However, they lasted me about 2000 miles whereas the Nittos took me up to about 6000 miles. I drive hard ... what can I say?
Downside is this > with very little wear on the MT's, when it rains, it's literally like being on ice at 25 mph or higher speeds ... and that's not even a very hard rain.

You ever gets loose at 130+? If you walk away from one of those, it will definitely keep you 'in check with reality'. Reality to me is keeping this car I've put all my money and hard work into ... LOL!!! My life means a little more. If I wanted to REALLY keep 'in check with reality', I'd be jumping buses on a rocket-propelled bike ... without out a helmet at 200+ mph.
Steve, BTW, your post count is stuck at 480 ... ROFLMAO.
