Default will this work ok for a catch can set up?

this is how i have my catch can routed. do you think this will work ok? i didnt put a check valve in because it all ways will have suction since it is in the suction side of the turbo, also i only have it vented through the valve cover on the very front port not the oil cap.

On the port on the t-body it will force freash air in and the vacume from the turbo will pull it out.

Yes since you dont have a vented catch can. That would work.

could i put a T with a breather on the line coming from the rear of the valve covers to the catch can? or would i lose suction through it?

Isn't this going to pressurize the crankcase under boost?

IMO, think of it like the path of least resistance. Basically if you didn't have a breather there and just an open T'd hole it wouldn't work. But if the breather was on the oil fill hole, air has to be sucked from the motor before it gets to the fresh air.

Someone correct me if I am wrong.

IMO you don't want any crankcase air going thru the throttle body that has not been thru a catch can. Even then it may be risky, oily fumes aides in detonation.

No its to small of a port to pressurize the motor.

Yes air has to be suck in the motor and through the oil cap breather when he sees boost it will push air through it.

That is true but its so little that fuel will overcome that anyway.

No that wont work. But hooking the line to the throttle body wont film up the intake. I have that line plug into mine and thats right next to my oil return for the rearmount. That line is dry to the bone.

if it was my set up i would have the two valve covers attached into one line going straight from the valve covers to the catch can then from the catch can to the inlet on the turbo, there should be no reason to get fresh air back in the crank case
if the cank needs to vent it can with the little bit of vacum that is caused by the turbo inlet, if u have some crazy vacum at the tubing going to the catch from the inlet of the turbo your air filter on the turbo is to small

i run the jegs crank vent setup that goes to your exhaust. it was very easy.

driver side valve cover has a line in back going down to the exhaust with a angle cut pipe welded in. passenger side has a breather on it. everything else capped off. a couple times at the end of the 1/8 it was pulling so much vacuum it pulled oil into the exhaust pipe and blew out blew smoke. no catch can in my setup. probably should get on, but no money.
