I am having trouble running a/c in traffic. I have 160 deg thermostat, LT1 radiator, fans tuned, 8" spal fan, and original 16" procharger spal fan. Does anyone know what the supplied ati 16" fan flows?

Looking for which 16" fan I should get.... spal extreme or the Zirgo 3630cfm fan....or any other suggestions

I am wondering if removing the procharger shroud and using universal push through fasteners on the fans would help? It just seems blocking off air flow through the core is not a good idea.

I have a SPAL 16" XTreme in place of the ATI fan, and I added an additional SPAL 8" fan in the top of the shroud - and at the same time swapped to the SLP radiator. No problems even on hot days since then.

Have you had the extreme on there for awhile? I am wondering how long it will last. Also what are you guys putting your fan settings at?

Yeah I was worried about the ratings on it too when I put it in 3-4 years ago. ~15k miles later they're both still running strong... It's been on 3-4 hours crawl/cruises on sunny days without problems.

If it ever gives out I'll just replace it with another one. I do keep an eye on them though.

edit : I have both fans come on/off at the same time, and although I run a 160 thermostat I have the fans at 200 on/190 off.
