How much Boost can I run Safely?
I am just curoius about how much boost I can safely run on my build. I am using a stock LQ4 6.0 iron block with upgraded ARP rod bolts. It will have a stock LS2 cam, 317 heads w/ported exhaust side. I am getting 60lb injectors and upgrading my fuel pump also. My compression with stock gaskets should come out to around 9.4 to 1. I am going to run a single GT70 or equivalent turbo and will be using one of the new Edelbrock Pro-Flo intakes. I am wanting to know how much boost I can safely run without pushing the limits of this motor. I'm not trying to build an all out race car. Just something with more power than my last N/A setup.
Thanks
Thanks

Well, the guy I've been talking with that has the GT70 made 638/675 on his stock LS2 in his GTO. That was about what I was hoping for, mybe not even that much. I had also thought about a GT42.

You should be fine with 12psi, with meth I would say up to 15psi. You're not gonna need much more then that lol If you're looking to make 600rwhp you will probably achieve that on 7-8psi

I basically want to be able to work my way up later if i ever forge the internals and beef up the rest of the drivetrain and rear end. I doubt I race it much until I do all of that. I just want a good starting point. If it makes 600rwhp I'll be more than happy.
