There cheap and proven above 800rwhp so unless you just want it for looks or a few more horses then go for it but I dont think its really worth the extra dough till you have better heads for flow and a larger cam. Just my 0.02

yeah. i know the ls6 makes good power but ive personally seen switching from a stock ls6 with a p&p throttle body to a fast 90/90 he gained 15 hp and 78 ftlb of torque. but the fast is just too expensive. the bbk is 399.99 the fast is 829.99 i can see spending over 400 for 15 extra hp. but would the victor jr. be too much for my 5.3?

We dont talk about heat soak in this section, lol. I personally would have gone BBK over ls6. They look better and come with rails and brand new for almost as much as a used ls6.

I find that so hard to believe on a boost application. The stock LS6 intake and TB are more than adequate for all but the most extreme builds.
And IMO its senseless having a TB larger than your IC plumbing..

if you run a pipe the same size as the TB youll see benefits from it not just in airflow but drop in IATs. Same theory as in sizing exhaust but its the opposite. Exhaust you want to keep the exhaust hot to help it travel to larger and it cools off to fast. With a larger IC pipe you drop IATs but slow down flow but it still is going to the intake.
