msd boost a pump 2351 (inertia wire?)
I bought the MSD boost a pump 2351 which is the new version of the 2350. It has an orange wire that is 12+ for fuel pump intertia switch. To my knowledge, GM does not use the intertia switch (it's a ford thing). What do I do with this orange wire? Does it still need to see 12+ volts or do I just not hook it up and only hook up the red 12+ to the pump?
Here's a pic of my wiring on the car. Car has a racetronix fuel pump wiring kit on it too. If someone can take a look and confirm I would appreciate it:

It needs to see +12V on that orange wire to work. You can wire it to any switched +12 source directly, or you could get slick and get a tipover switch from Summit or someplace and wire that in as a smart safety - in a rollover situation it will interrupt the 12V to the pump, shutting it off.
So, orange to switched +12.
Long red to + terminal of pump.
Short red to + of battery or unswitched (constant) +12.
Black to a good ground.
